On the Stump and Air
Gibson was the keynote speaker at the Fall Forum of the Colorado Social Legislation Committee on November 6. The presentation explored the new public policy environment and political landscape of the state and nation.
On October 22, Center for the New West President Phil Burgess interviewed Gibson about the DLC by on Channel 12's "The Body Politic." Pierre Jimenez of Channel 57's "Hispanos Americanos" program interviewed Gibson and David Thompson of the National Rainbow Coalition on affirmative action. The program was aired at various times in late October and early November.
The Colorado DLC's views on affirmative action were aired November 15 on KUVO Radio. The commentary called for a broader debate on equal opportunity and an end to the gridlock caused by traditional liberals who defend the status quo and conservatives who merely seek to divide and conquer.
