Colorado Democrats Crafting New Message
The Colorado Democratic Leadership Council (DLC) is hosting a Public Policy Forum featuring Gov. Richard Lamm, Senate Minority Leader Mike Feeley and House Minority Leader Peggy Kerns.  Panelists and audience members will offer their views on a policy agenda that will "work and win."  Democratic Party State Chair Mike Beatty is the moderator.

The program is providing input for a bold, innovative and pragmatic agenda - being developed by the Colorado DLC think tank - that will  promote opportunity, responsibility, and community.  It will also demand that all citizens contribute to the common good and focus on making government perform more effectively at less cost to taxpayers.

Since 1985, the DLC has moved beyond traditional liberalism and conservatism, advocating bold policies that provide voters a new and real choice.  With over 700 elected officials and many more private citizens in all 50 states, the DLC is reshaping American politics as the fastest growing and most innovative Democratic group in the nation.
