Susan Kirkpatrick is former Mayor and Councilmember of Fort Collins and currently Chair of the Larimer County Democratic Party. State Senator Peggy Reeves represents the Fort Collins area in the state legislature. Dick Bond, a former State Representative from Greeley and 4th Congressional District candidate serves on the Colorado Democratic Leadership Council's Executive Committee. Tom Strickland, the Colorado Democratic US Senate candidate in 1996, will moderate the panel discussion.

The Democratic Leadership Council promotes the "New Democrat" agenda which rejects New Deal liberalism, promotes equal opportunity but not equal outcomes, and recognizes that government cannot solve all of our problems.
The panel discussion costs $12 per person to cover expenses associated with lunch and the facility. Those wishing to attend are urged to make reservations immediately.
