WHAT:	A panel discussion entitled "Why and How Northern Colorado Democrats Must Change," featuring prominent Northern Colorado and state Democrats.
WHO:	Susan Kirkpatrick is former Mayor and Councilmember of Fort Collins and currently Chair of the Larimer County Democratic Party.  State Senator Peggy Reeves represents the Fort Collins area in the state legislature.  Dick Bond, a former State Representative from Greeley and 4th Congressional District candidate serves on the Colorado Democratic Leadership Council's Executive Committee.  Tom Strickland, the Colorado Democratic US Senate candidate in 1996, will moderate the panel discussion.
WHEN & WHERE:	Thursday, July 31, 11:30 AM at the Lincoln Center, 417 West Magnolia in downtown Fort Collins.
WHY:	The Democratic Party faces an important crossroads in Northern Colorado and across the nation. The outcomes of discussions like this will shape the Democratic Party's future.
OTHER INFO:	The Democratic Leadership Council promotes the "New Democrat" agenda which rejects New Deal liberalism, promotes equal opportunity but not equal outcomes, and recognizes that government cannot solve all of our problems.
